KMZ. Beginning
LLC “Kyiv Machine Plant” is a Ukrainian manufacturer of automotive cranes and other specialized machinery.
In 2021, production of Ukrainian special equipment was organized at the facilities of the “Betone Nova International” plant in the village of Myronivskyi, Bahmut district. The “Betone Nova International” (BNI) plant was a leader in the Ukrainian market of reinforced concrete products and metal structures. Kyiv Machine-Building Plant (KMZ) was located on the territory of this huge BNI plant, in two workshops. The first Ukrainian cranes KMZ 25-40 with a lifting capacity of 25 tons and a boom outreach of 32 and 40 meters were assembled.
The importance of creating unique Ukrainian special equipment, especially at a plant located in a practically frontline area, cannot be overstated. The enterprise team presented and promoted unique Ukrainian special equipment created in Donetsk at international specialized exhibitions, where cranes received high ratings from experts.
